In 2011, I took coursework within the Certificate of Business Innovation program at the School of Continuing studies at University of Toronto. The focus of the course was on the tools and techniques used to inspire innovation within organizations both small and large.
I really enjoyed the course, and my professor became impressed with my intellectual curiosity, dedication to learn and hard work. I managed to earn top-honours in the course, being among one of the youngest students to obtain top marks. My interest in the course and subject matter allowed me to assist my professor in further developing the course by providing recommendations into case studies, classroom activities and presentations to include for the next semester.
Overall, this experience furthered my interest in developing a broader set of skills across business administration, and take my passion for learning and contributing to learning to new heights.
