During my time at Sears Canada, I was involved in a project to help deliver a real-time competitor pricing intelligence solution to merchants across a variety of product categories – such as Major Appliances, Electronics, Toys, Furniture, and Kitchen Appliances – in an effort to optimize pricing strategies across both the eCommerce and brick & mortar channels.
My involvement with this project allowed me to develop a niche expertise in the growing field of digital retail technology. Among other things:
- I was fortunate enough to have been able to contribute to the writing of an eBook on pricing intelligence.
- I also had the opportunity to participate in a webinar on reinventing pricing strategies in today’s retail landscape:
- I provided consulting services to an organization seeking to better market competitive pricing intelligence solutions to retailers in Canada and the U.S.
Overall, this experience allowed me to collaborate with respected subject-matter experts in the fields of digital, retail and technology, as well as expand my breadth of knowledge in the digital marketing and analytics space.
